The first hard-of-hearing K-pop group Big Ocean is reaching out with their most honest touch with the Christmas carol “RED-DY SET GO.”
Big Ocean (Chanyeon, PJ, Jiseok ) will release the Christmas carol “RED-DY SET GO” through various music streaming sites at 6 PM today (the 23rd).
“RED-DY SET GO” is a song inspired by Rudolph’s red nose, and is a song that stands out with its bright tempo and addictive chorus. The bright and cheerful carol sound conveys the message of “the moment when complexes become light,” depicting the countless prejudices and discrimination they have faced throughout their lives, as well as their stories of overcoming them all.
The lyrics of “RED-DY SET GO” symbolically depict the story of a little deer hiding in the darkness accepting its own light and soaring again, fully showcasing Big Ocean’s identity.
In particular, the agency raised expectations for the music video by revealing, “Jiseok’s live performance will be revealed for the first time through the ‘RED-DY SET GO’ music video that will be released along with the song.”
They debuted on April 20, 2024, with the single “Glow”, which coincided with the Day of Persons with Disabilities in South Korea.
Big Ocean will attend ‘Korea Spotlight’ held in Barcelona, Spain on the 25th, and will hold the year-end solo concert ‘HEARTSIGN: When Hands Sing, Hearts Answer’ at the Bataclan in Paris, France on the 7th of next month.
