PBS, the Maltese national broadcaster has announced the semi-finals of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest will take place on 15 January, while the final will be on 17 January.
PBS will publish the rules for singers or groups to participate in this festival from today. Song submissions will be accepted from 17 – 23 November.
On 1 December, the 18 semi-finalists will be announced who will then take part in the semi-final on 15 January.
The winner or winners will then represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna next May. This will be the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Malta has been represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 37 times since its debut in 1971.
