T1 to a thrilling 3-2 victory over KT Rolster in the League of Legends World Championship final, securing an unprecedented third consecutive title and his sixth overall crown.
The League of Legends World Championship final took place at the multi-purpose gym of Chengdu Dongan Lake Sports Park in China on the 9th of November.
This victory marks another monumental chapter for Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, who led T1 to the win alongside Doran, Oner, Gumayusi, and Keria.
On X, T1 stated “Back-to-back-to-back, we ended our journey on top, becoming the first team in the World Championship to achieve V6.

Speaking to Maeil Business Newspaper Faker stated in a winning interview after the match, “I’m happy to reach the top of the LOL World Cup once again. I’m satisfied because today’s game was so much more fun than the record. I want to say thank you to the kt players who played with me,”
T1 is a Korean team owned by SK telecom CS T1 Co., Ltd., the joint venture between SK Telecom and Comcast Spectacor.
The $5 million prize pool was distributed among top performers, with T1 taking home $1 million for first place and KT Rolster earning $800,000 as runners-up.
T1 made history as T1 became the first team to win three consecutive Worlds titles, and with six championships and no other organization in LoL history even comes close (2013, 2015, 2016, 2023, 2024, and 2025).
The Final hosted by League Developer Riot Games 6.7 million peak concurrent viewers, third-highest in esports history.
